The sun sets on another day…
As the sun said it began raining and the drips and drops hitting the roof made me smile. There’s something about a soft rain storm that just adds beauty to the world.
I got to laugh out of a few people today and didn’t mean to. I was helping at the house to replace a little piece of fence. The hole that the fence post had been in had filled up after the rain and was too shallow to allow the post to set right. That’s to be expected.
I was using a shovel to try to make the hole bigger but it was full of gravel and not working too well. I considered going to buy a post hole digger but there wasn’t any concrete so I just needed to clear the hole again. As I looked at it for a minute and looked at the garage of where I was I saw a Shop-Vac and my innovation led to me sucking out the hole to the depth necessary in a matter of seconds. I was stared at like I was an alien.
When I see a problem I look for Solutions, but quite often people don’t see all the solutions right in front of them and I have a tendency of coming up with very weird ideas, for this one there was a shaking of heads and a little laughter and afterwards some appreciation.
Have you ever come up with a solution that everybody else thinks is crazy? Have you ever solved a problem in a way that not many people would solve it? What is the most exciting solution you’ve come up with?
