The sun sets on another day…
Snow fell in a darkened sky as I watched, and as I did I smiled at how fantastic the world was, after all, there is beauty everywhere, and all we have to do is see it.
A Poem for today:
Giggles
I’d like to think the fun will stay
and I would find a well lit way
to laugh and make the world join in
and not think fun is original sin
and When I find that magic joke
I think that I will peek and poke
and make computers share it all
so laughter can match a beckon call
and whosoever can be found
without a laugh or sequined crown
Must dance with me and laugh so true
and knock away the worlds blues
Not day or night or feathered cap
no Moe to swing and Curly slap
but words that sing inside our mind
and perhaps a way to make us kind
So laugh away and enjoy the time
as I laugh too and try to rhyme
and when the laugh makes you cry
laugh some more, don’t question why
In the end, when said and done
not money, things or mountains won
just count the laughs and sing the song
for laughing loud is never wrong
So as the sun sets on another day, I will have to come up with that joke, and maybe get you to laugh a little. After all, the world is an amazing place every day, and I enjoy the laughter. Laugh with me all you can, no matter what.
Sleep sweet, love life, and keep living…
