The sun sets on another day…
It was another beautiful sunset, clouds poked through everywhere and the blue sky with white clouds became puffy orange balls floating in the sky shifting in the color as they wandered through the wind.
Sometimes you run into things that aren’t quite comfortable to deal with. The list is long and I’m sure you dealt with many. It seems that during the holidays those interesting interactions find their way to become real pains, over and over again.
There are lots of ways to handle difficulties. The two ways I see most often are overlooking and overcoming obstacles.
Overlooking an obstacle or a difficult time is as easy as mind over matter. You don’t have to mind because it doesn’t matter. When you overlook something less than comfortable it doesn’t necessarily become comfortable, but it’s not uncomfortable anymore either.
Overcoming is a little different. When faced with a challenge, overcoming it means making it go away either by making it unimportant for by eliminating it completely. Those who overcome their obstacles often challenge the norm and push harder than most.
Whatever you prefer, works. It’s all up to you, just don’t let the obstacle win. Face what you can and address it as you need to, and in the end, I hope you can find a way to happiness even when there’s something in front of you. Actually I know that you can, you are that awesome, you are that talented, you can do it if you want to.
So as the sun sets on another day, I hope you find the path to happiness. I hope that big stuff shies away from you, and small stuff stays away too. Mostly I hope you realize that often the problems of today won’t be remembered tomorrow, and you will find a magnificent way to be you. Don’t stop being you, ever, no matter what.
Sleep sweet, love life, and find a way…
