The sun sets on another day…
Sunset was an amazing series of colors and light. I found myself staring from a distance and even though the beauty was overwhelming I too was overwhelmed. How can such beauty exist? It’s a question I may never answer as beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Today I looked at a lot of possibilities and once again missed the Thursday writing call. I didn’t do this on purpose but instead was looking at a problem from angle after angle until suddenly everything had been removed. It’s amazing when you get into a thought process the transcendence time, but when the problem is big you are often stuck in a Wonderland that slips by faster than you think.
We all think our problems are so big that they’re overwhelming, but if you try to remember your problems from last week you likely will not. Those of you that do may have recurring problems that never seem to end. Each day it seems like our problem counter gets reset and that’s a very good thing because the numbers that we face even walking across the room are stupendous.
I find often the things are challenging because problems, all seem daunting. When I actually look at it though, the problems are transient. Often, they are inconsequential. I’m not saying this is true everywhere because I know many people who face difficult problems and struggles every day. I just find that I don’t always face problems that are so difficult that they have to cause me to obsess for each moment that passes.
My suggestion is easy. Take a minute and look at your problems and see how deep they really are. Take the time to analyze the things that you’re going through and somewhere in between I think you’ll find an answer. Life is good often and when it’s not there is usually a path for it to be good.
Which path is that? Only you know. Everyone faces different problems and everyone has different solutions and to say my solutions can solve your problems is not fair to me or to you. Look at the options that you have and make the best decision that you can. Remember that making a decision is a powerful act and not making a decision is a decision in itself. In the end, you will determine which problems are big and which are not.
So as the sun sets on another day, i actually hope that you have no problems. If you do I hope you find the way to solve them or get help so they can be solved more easily. Either way, or it does in other ways, you are amazing and can find your way, no matter what.
Sleep sweet, love life, and keep living…
