The sun sets on another day…
Wow, 7 degrees and more snow. Seems like sunset is full of a little bit of ice, but high above, sunset is spectacular, and it will all be back soon.
Ever feel like you are in the middle?
The middle is a unique place to be. Often you have the ability to review everything around you when no one else may be paying attention. You also become embroiled in all that you can see, and it takes a little more effort to understand the directions you must go. There we are in the middle, sitting in the center of a circle where everyone is aware of us but may not be aware of each other and we can review everyone to understand where we fit.
When I was young, I used to be the kid on the playground who spun there you go round faster and faster so that everyone could laugh and play. I rode it occasionally and learned that to hold on you have to be in the middle. Hanging on the side of a merry go round as someone even remotely strong spins it faster and faster becomes tedious and eventually impossible. This is what I don’t think some people see right now. If you are on the outside and everything is spinning how long will it be until you’re thrown off?
OK, that was all pretty nebulous. If you figure it out great, if you don’t that’s great too. All i want is for you to have a fantastic day and realize that understanding is a whole lot better than being sure. Keep learning every day and let’s try to find the positivity to overcome, because that’s a good thing.
So as the sun sets on another day, I’m embarrassed to say that Once Upon a time I thought Michael Jackson’s song told us to look at the man in the middle. The man in the mirror makes more sense, but I just didn’t hear that for some reason and after a while I realized that both were kind of right even though the song says mirror. Look at yourself and be the best person that you can be, and if you don’t like what you see ask yourself how to change your ways. You are always terrific every day, no matter what.
Sleep sweet, love life, and keep living…
