The sun sets on another day…
Sunset was a spectacular assortment of colors that made the sky a near rainbow and covered the world with light!
I find myself enjoying life quite often. At the core of that enjoyment is people. I enjoy the way people can interact even though some of them are not so hot. Usually I just sweep the not so hot ones away or write about them.
There’s something oddly satisfying when you write about someone who isn’t very nice in a story. You don’t have to follow any rules and you’re not mentioning names or bringing them out or calling them out. Instead you were taking the idea of them and animating it inside of a series of random thoughts that turns them into a person who might change or might face some type of retribution for their actions.
For me, I often get a kick out of writing people into horror stories because whether they are the survivor hero, or one of the not so lucky victims, they are always interesting.
I remember a woman who was not very nice when I was at a show selling books. I wrote her into a story about a year later and she was not treated very well by a rather over the top monster. The entire situation was relatively funny and the story was funny as well. Although she was a minor character she made me laugh.
How do you deal with people? Do you internalize it and suffer your own misery or do you find an outlet that lets go of the frustrations that you often feel. I’d like to do the latter and writing is a good option for doing that.
So as the sun sets on another day, the easy solution is for everyone to be nice to you. I hope the world treats you well every day. Mostly I hope you find the solution for everything you do, no matter what.
Sleep sweet, love life, and rawwwrrr…
