The sun sets on another day…
I stepped outside into beauty. The sky was lit up with colors that were not easily describable. I went to the corner and took this picture. For a moment I was at peace.
I’m not sure which thing I’m talking about. I could be talking about the Richard Bach book or I could be talking about all of the different forms of Illusion that we face everyday. Any one of them are fine.
An illusion is something that is presented to us that doesn’t necessarily match what is real. I find many of us wear masks and many others of us are in the business of presenting ourselves not quite the way we are. These illusions are painted across us to make our world more livable.
Not always a good thing but sometimes a great thing.
As I thought about illusions a lot of positive things, but one thing stands out above all others, be true to yourself.
That sounds pretty easy but sometimes it’s not. If you are true to yourself I believe you will find better days always and never get lost in the odd and strange world of things that aren’t quite right. Find your way and instead of Illusion make your reality the best that it can be.
As I sit here writing this I just want to say that everything is wonderful even if it’s not an illusion.
So as the sun sets on another day, let’s stop building Illusions and start building realities. Somewhere along the way make the world yours, no matter what.
