The sun sets on another day…
Rain sprinkled in and the sky was a little grey but it felt good and I enjoyed it very much. Somewhere high above the sunset was amazing.
Yes this is a weird post. It might surprise you to know that I have never been in a strip club with my life until today. Now before you judge me and think that I’m an awful person or think that I ran in there to see things that I shouldn’t, I walked in to buy a T-shirt. Actually I walked in with my friend to buy a T-shirt.
If you think about it it’s probably a very comical picture. The two of us looked like bouncers that most people would run from were ex wrestlers that are going to take over the world. We walk in and they’re at T-shirts on the wall for Uncle Bucks Boobie Bungalo and we just had to get a few. It was more the name than anything and even though I stepped foot in a strip club I still have never been up close and personal with a dancer or dancers in a strip club so maybe I’m still safe.
We bought our T-shirts and came out looking like a couple of goofy 12 year olds, and then walked back to the truck and left. It was a fun time just because we were telling them jokes about the name the whole time. Yes I did use time too many times in that sentence, and this one too.
Have you ever done anything silly just for the fun of it? Have you ever made a difference or jumped on something or been a little crazy? Doesn’t it make you feel alive? I hope so.
So as the sun sets on another day, I guess I can check this one off of my bingo card and start looking for more strange things to do just because. I hope you find a way to have fun today and tomorrow and the next day. Mostly I hope you squeeze the life out of every day because it’s worth it, no matter what.
