The sun sets on another day…
Tonight we prepared for rain once again, rainy snow, snowy rain, just rain, more rain, a little sun, and maybe a little more rain. Who knows. It is strange how the weather makes a day great and gives us ideas upon ideas.
It is funny sometimes how many ideas we can have floating in our head. I read a book many years ago that was teaching about self control and one of the key lessons was to clear your mind of all the foolishness. When we have too many questions it is like birds landing on the branch of a tree, as each bird lands it takes away our ability to see past a single idea and knocks the last off the branch. In the book the suggestion was to rid yourself of the branch and the tree, and find a path to understand ourselves.
That can sometimes be the trick. We all know what we think we want, but do we really know what we want or need, do we really understand the ideas that make our lives better, or worse, and in the end do we know how to get where we need to be.
Important questions and only we can find the answers. Only we can come up with the solution for ourselves to live a happy minute, hour, day, week, month, year, decade, life.
So as the sun sets on another day, where do you need to go, and how do you need to be, and how do you find your way, answer these questions as they apply to you, and you are well on your way to getting rid of the branch and the birds, and finding your way to a better life.
Sleep sweet, love life, and live it!
