The sun sets on another day…
I have watched many sunsets that have taken my breath away. I have watched many sunsets that I have been lost in. Well, I have watched a lot of sunsets.
I was reading a few tomes about Buddha and his art of breathing. It makes sense. Meditation through knowing yourself seems like a good place to breath, as does a lot of meditation techniques. It all centers around breathing. I guess it is no wonder we breath a lot each day. A normal day is between 17 and 30 thousand or more. So we are good at breathing. How can we use that to our advantage.
Well, the texts I read suggest we meditate through breathing, center ourselves through breathing, and become a little more through breathing, but in the end, all we are is through breathing, right?
So, my suggestion right now is as I was told when I was little, take a deep breath, and breath, take a deep breath and as you exhale, let your stress go. Take a deep breath and watch the sunset, take a deep breath.
Well, it is just a suggestion, but I think it works.
So as the sun sets on another day, breath. It is pretty easy. Breath in, feel the world around you, pay attention, and in the process, enjoy your day, no matter what.
Sleep sweet, love life, and breath…
