The sun sets on another day…
It is pretty much a misleading title tonight. Cake was the band I went to see tonight, and I enjoyed the music and the people as always. As I laughed, giggled, talked to people and made myself a general nuisance I met a few great individuals tonight that should be mentioned.
The woman who laughed when we talked for a moment about writing and books and said she would dive into my books as she had to ID me as over 21. (If you know me, that is funny). The woman who I have seen at numerous concerts who said hi and remembered me. The semi inebriated person who spilled their beer all over my side, then apologized saying they carried too much beer. The women in front of me who were truly inspired by life and had a story to tell. Now one of the women had a first name I used in my new book “Fateful Friend” and we talked for a moment about 29000 sunsets because she had a recent scare with someone close having a serious medical issue. She understood clearly when I said I believed we need to take no day for granted and try to enjoy everything we can in every one. We talked for a few, but it was the group as a whole that was dynamic. they laughed, they loved, and they enjoyed the moments, and in doing so I could see there was family, and there was pseudo family in all of them, and perhaps a little more. It was impressive. Then of course there was out little group, which was dynamic, fun, and full of laughter too. In the end, it was good music, and good fun, and I enjoyed it immensely and a little but more.
So as the sun sets on another day, enjoy your day, maybe enjoy every moment you can, as I have said a lot, there is no tomorrow until it is here so you had better appreciate today. Seems I am not the only one that feels that way. I believe it, I live it, and I appreciate today, no matter what.
Sleep sweet, love life, and enjoy it…
