The sun sets on another day…
Sunset was amazing, and again the cloud veil took it away, but that’s OK, it was awesome while it lasted.
In the movie “the Crow” the main character says “Mother is the name for God on the lips and hearts of all children.” What then is “Father”? Is the Father god as well being paired to the mother? Is the father order? Or chaos? Or a hundred other words?
On this day dedicated to fathers please take a moment and pay attention. Understand that a fathers love can shape a child as well as a mothers, and the father all so often is there less and sometimes asked to become more. My father long since passed, but he leaves behind a legacy of words and actions that I will respect until the day I am no more. I hope I have passed his values to my children, perhaps a little more as I have not always been perfect, but then no one is.
So as the sun sets on another day, to all the fathers out there, happy fathers day, and to everyone else, I hope you have a wonderful night and enjoy the sunset, no matter what.
