The sun sets on another day…
Sunset was full of fire and excitement and the setting sun went down on a day of positive excitement.
I watched people all morning as they came and went on a mud run. Each of them positive, powerful, and full of purpose the cross in triumph, in praise, or in sheer willpower to make it to the end. I was particularly impressed with the 70 year old man crossing the finish line covered in mud and smiling all along the way.
It is with this power and determination that we should approach every day. Not as an obstacle course but as a series of events that we overcome easily, and celebrate as the sun sets. What better finish line than a sunset to weigh the wonderfulness of your day. What better place than a sunset to celebrate yourself.
Take a breath, keep moving forward and find the path to make your day the most amazing day possible. I believe in you, but it is more important right now that you believe in you and all of the things you are. After all, we are all special in our own way and we should celebrate our power all we can.
So as the sun sets on another day, be powerful. Be aware. Be that person that crosses the finish line knowing it was a struggle but you never gave up, and along the way be who you are, no matter what.
Sleep sweet, love life, and power up…
