The sun sets on another day…
Sunset was dim, cold, and wet. Still, above the clouds a magnificent sunset was happening. I smiled and enjoyed the moment.
I was sitting in a waiting room tonight thinking about “Conjunction Junction”, and old grammar cartoon. In the middle of my musical musings I thought about all the things that hold us together. There are numerous items, and they are unique for each person as we are all unique..
Of importance to me are all the things that hold us together as people, and as a group of people moving towards a common goal. Whether an author, worker, executive, retiree, or one of the hundreds of occupations out there we all share common bonds and common goals, if only a few.
If you think about it you might want money and comfort, or comfort and excitement, or just excitement and fun. You can go on and on but these items group to a series of ands, which is definitely better than buts, but I am not sure if it is more than ors. As I laughed to myself tonight I thought that the ultimate would be a series of ands holding us together, and it was there I started righting. For you and me. Consider it as a possibility, because together is always better.
So as the sun sets on another day, what a fun little rabbit hole. I hope all of you have a super evening and enjoy every moment you can. After all, there is no tomorrow, and with today we can find our special happiness, you and I, no matter what.
