The sun sets on another day…
Sunset was wonderful but the day was better as I spent time with a friend taking pictures, and found some exciting times. It is fun when we realize that all our dreams and realities make us who we are, and more fun when our realities are as fun as any dream.
What better dream than watching eagles play, what better reality?
And then there is the eagle fishing, next time I will bring a bigger lens.
A spectacular reality that some can only dream of. Eagles seem to have a lot of time for fun!!
Speaking of dreams. I had a strange dream last night. Figure this one out:
I was with a group of people in my dream, and I saw a commotion at a nearby park. As I looked over it was a typical Italian park with a large open space and sidewalks surrounding it. To the east was a series of stairs cascading down to the park and there was an ornamental fountain around the stairs making the entire area very beautiful. If I had to guess from my dream the park was actually 100-yard square and mostly open with lush green grass that contrasted with the white sidewalk. Someone ran up to me and said they had just received an all-expenses paid all-inclusive vacation to Mexico and all they had to do was give up their phone. I watched from a distance as phones were thrown into the street or bricks dropped on them and the phones destroyed.
I started walking towards the group and in front of me on the stairs a Sheikh was coming down towards me. He was dressed ornately in blue with a turban on that contained a giant red jewel set inside a gold inlay on blue fabric. He was a little portly and had a white beard and white hair Peking on the edges of the turbine and a smile so wide that you had to smile with him if only for an instant.
The strange thing was that the Sheikh was walking directly towards me and looking directly at me as if I was the focus of his reason for being there. Looking slightly to his left I saw a series of monks walking down the stairs as well wearing orange and black robes, all shaved bald holding their hands folded in front of them. The entire situation was surreal.
I started to turn and walk and stumbled slightly and fell to one knee and as I stood back up I saw the Sheikh smile at me and nod in my direction. I’m unsure why but I then knelt down on both knees and put my hands in front of me. It was at that point that hundreds of people slid in besides me and knelt exactly as I did while the Sheikh and the monks did the same. Moments later I was in the center of everyone and as I stood and looked around and everyone looked at me I woke up.
I took notes about this to remember the details. It was a very strange dream. I went through the dozens of books on dreams I have and I have decided that my brain is somewhere else completely, but it’s OK because I am with it. As for this rather strange post, welcome to 29,000 sunsets and I hope you enjoy your stay.
So as the sun sets on another day I would like to take this moment and say thank you to everyone who visits here. I also would like to make note that this picture was a lot of fun to take and watching a pair of Eagles play and roll around in the sky made for an amazing afternoon. I hope you had a great afternoon as well and I hope your evening is spectacular, no matter what.
Sleep sweet, love life, and go where Eagles dareā¦
