The sun sets on another day…
Sunset was again lost in the clouds, but the sun was there, and among the skies beauty reigned.
I found myself talking to a lot of people today. It’s interesting when you interact with people and here their stories. Not their stories translated by your mind into a story you can understand but truly a series of stories that are inspiring because of the truth and beauty lost inside of them.
There are many people who have difficulty understanding beyond that line of vision which defines them. I can only hope that has people in Iraq they begin to see the spectacular situations that create spectacular people. Spectacular people are not built by happiness and wonderment. Spectacular people are forged in fire and have faced difficulty.
I’m sure there are some people right now who are reading this and thinking that a good person who is a good person always can excel and be spectacular. I wholeheartedly agree this is possible but at the same time how can someone who has never faced adversity rise above it? How can someone who doesn’t understand the darkness avoid it for the light? I’m sure there are good answers for all of that but I will just say that the people I talked to often have faced difficult times in order to become spectacular people.
If you’re facing difficulty, just remember that it will pass. I remember someone once telling me that they wanted to die every day only to see them now from a distance succeeding beyond their wildest dreams. It works.
So as the sun sets on another day, let’s face the rough times together and come out the other side enjoying life and being a better person. We can be the best people in the world if we want to. Let’s make that choice and through difficulty, find the light. I hope you have a fantastic evening, no matter what.
Sleep sweet, love life, and the darkness shall pass…
