The sun sets on another day…
If you look at how the sun works and the complex bonds that are broken down in a fusion reaction to make heat, light and a bunch of other stuff it is pure science, black and white. There are other bonds in life that are not so clearly defined.
I love the idea of love. A lot of people have told me that. Love is a bond with indescribable power as it exists but it is evident in so many ways that sometimes it is less than perfectly clear. The bond between parents and children, loved ones, friends and lovers is a complex mess that seems to ebb and flow more than a storm surge in a hurricane. It is true, however, that these bonds are permanent and forever. Sometimes we just need to open our eyes and see them as they really exist.
I know a lot of people who have been in love, and seen that love fade away or be spurious, I also know a lot of people who have loved so strong that no one can break the bond between them, even themselves. Mostly, I know the bond between parent and children is super resolute, and cannot truly be broken. My point is, we should build the best bonds we can and make the best of every friendship, every love, every bond and make them stronger each day. Seems easy, right?
So as the sun sets on another day, spend a moment and call family, friends, and those you love, and let them know you care, keep building that bond so everyone knows that it is strong, and be there for family when they need you, no matter what.
Sleep sweet, love life, and smile a lot, it is a lot of fun!
