The sun sets on another day…
I wanted a beautiful sunset tonight, and I got it. The problem was as the time fell upon me I couldn’t get out to see exactly what I waned to see. That’s okay. I knew that sunset was amazing even though I couldn’t be there and I enjoyed the moment as always.
I created a series of pictures years ago about conflict. These pictures were created in early forms of Bryce and Poser. The actual graphics allow the viewer to consider how they may or may not reach for something that is just outside of their grasp. As I made them I was thinking how often things like passionate emotions can become elusive when we are reaching hardest for them.
It’s not a big deal right? Well actually it is because it would be better if those moments were not so elusive and it would be far better if we understood how to grasp those special things we wanted far more easily.
Now I know there are lots of different people and companies that will tell you they have the secret to your happiness. I have read a lot of books that purport to have the answers that will eliminate your problems, not just for a little while but for a long while. I know that people love to look for a solution to just about everything. Guess what? We are all different.
Rather than give you the solution to the universe, mostly because I want to keep it for myself, I give you the same thing I say always. Define yourself each day for the best possible day and the future will work out right for you. Don’t get lost in the past or the future but instead define today for yourself it will make you feel better about life and more. After all if you’re looking at today and making today the best day ever, all the rest fall into place.
So as the sun sets on another day, take a deep breath and keep reaching. Reach for new heights today. Reach for new heights every moment that you can, but mostly reach for happiness because that is where we will find some good days. I hope you find the happiness you see, you want, and you need, no matter what.
Sleep sweet, love life, and keep reaching for the stars…
