The sun sets on another day…
Sunset was once again misty. I sang a son about it for a while, then just enjoyed all that I could, and laughed along the way.
As I go through many things and slowly filter out my past I have been buried in trains for a while. Two things have happened with the trains. First, I have found that I have a lot of trains. I even took the time to set up a track and have spent over a week enjoying things I have collected for many many years.
The second is very funny. When I packed the trains away I wrapped them in newspaper. I know some of the newer people wouldn’t understand the idea of getting a newspaper every day, but up until the early 90s I did. What this gives is a picture of history as you glance and laugh and look through the papers that are wrapping the trains. Everything from ads to stories are interesting and have a tendency to open your mind and let you think about whole bunch of old stuff. What fun.
Trips down memory lane are always fun as long as you don’t obsess about them. If you take away the emotion you’ll always get a positive and if you take away the negatives the world will find its way to be a better place. As I giggle and laugh and play with the choo choos I can be nothing but amazed at the world around me. It’s pretty cool, right?
So as the sun sets on another day, I hope you find a way towards passion and excitement and remember that although your past was there, you define you every day. Nothing else can define you and there is nothing else as amazing in life. Find your way, every day, no matter what.
Sleep sweet, love life, and enjoy the memories…
