Another fantastic evening and another sunset. I found out today from a friend that this February was one of the sunniest we have ever had. During the winter in Michigan, we often go weeks if not months without any sun at all. Now as day turns to night the skies are lit up with amazement.
Page’s Promotions put on an event this month and I got to read the last two days of the month. Yesterday I read from Curious Cousin, and today I am reading from Another Slice of Passion. There are a lot of people in the world who are not fans of poetry. I find that you have to fit a lot into a very little when you do poetry and often you find yourself lost in emotion and perhaps a little bit more.
Tonight as I read two poems I also referred to an appendix in the back of my book that gave a reasonable explanation of why I wrote what I wrote. Perhaps someday if someone looks at my work and enjoys it they will see how I made it to where I wrote and in doing so perhaps share the emotions that I was so immersed in.
You can see the replay here. You might get a kick out of it.
So as the sun sets on another day, no dog is just a dog and people should do everything they can to change the world in a positive manner. At least that’s what the two poems said. I hope you get a chance to watch the replay and if you do like poetry check on Amazon for Another Slice of Passion and have some fun. I know I did writing it.
Sleep sweet, love life, and read all you can…
