The sun sets on another day…
Sunset was again cloudy, but there was a possibility of more, so I laughed and enjoyed the depths of my imagination, and as I did so, the western sky opened a little more, and it was a nice sunset.
Imagination can do more than just entertain you.
Sometimes imagination can open a world. It wasn’t too long ago that many of the things we take for granted right now were actually science fiction or fiction realities. The idea of a cell phone or radio phone was awesome, but it didn’t become reality quickly. It was born out of imagination. Improvements in cars, planes, and so much more did not exist only a few years ago, well for some of them more than a few. It is the imagination that opens up possibilities and the imagination that sees past what others can only believe.
I sometimes get a kick out of all of the things that are for sure. When I was young, I watched on television when the X15 flew. It broke a significant number of records, and I sat back and wondered who thought this up. I was young but reading science fiction constantly and here with science reality to the nth degree. How was it possible? Imagination.
All I’m asking today is to take a moment and explore your imagination. See beyond the real world and grasp what could be next and perhaps more. Hold on, it’s on its way. Many people at shows have told me about their preference of only reading nonfiction, maybe it’s time to read a little fiction and see a new world play out before you.
So as the sun sets on another day, maybe I am lost in my imagination. Maybe all the things I’ve done in my life were part of a dream. I’m very glad that a lot of that dream became a reality. Grab your imagination and keep making new realities, no matter what.
Sleep sweet, love life, and be amazed…
