Why miss another?

Forever together, forever apart

The sun sets on another day…

Nicolas Sparks said in his tear filled book, The Notebook:

“Dusk is just an illusion because the sun is either above the horizon or below it. And that means that day and night are linked in a way that few things are there cannot be one without the other yet they cannot exist at the same time. How would it feel I remember wondering to be always together yet forever apart?”

Consider. There are some people who just are “together”, even if they are not “together”. They share a common bond, a spirit, and something more. Even apart, they are strong, and because they know each other exist, they are better than they could be alone. If they are “together”, the heavens may tremble as the passion, life, and love would be beyond compare.

In the Notebook Noah reads to Allie daily, and tries to find the one path where they can be together again, and in doing so defines how they are forever. How amazing it is to be able to say to some one, “I am who I am because of you.”

As the sun sets tonight and we pass dusk, consider the people who have defined you, and who have made you a better person, because they loved you, believed in you, and perhaps still do. Perhaps one day you will find this person, or have already, and one day you will be together, but no matter what, hold on to that feeling of hope, and much more.

Trust in love, trust in life, and sleep sweet.
