the sun sets on another day…
Today is an amazing day because you are in it! When you look at the day, every day, from that perspective you will do well because each day is a potential adventure, a time to live, a time to love, and a time to learn. There is so much out there that can make a difference if you just take a moment and look for it. The special person place you are going to right now may not seem special, but it is wondrous within itself.
One of my favorite movies is the Seven Faces of Dr. Lao and one of my favorite quotes is:
Mike, the whole world is a circus if you look at it the right way. Every time you pick up a handful of dust, and see not the dust, but a mystery, a marvel, there in your hand, every time you stop and think, “I’m alive, and being alive is fantastic!” Every time such a thing happens, Mike, you are part of the Circus of Dr. Lao.
Imagine for just a moment if we could live in that wonderful circus every day. So look deeply into that handful of dirt, and make it a marvel, and while you are at it, live life, love all you can and make every day an amazing one…
