The sun sets on another day…
The sun flies on a clear path, rising in the East and setting in the west and seems to always know its way. People, on the other hand, sometimes lose their way and wander. They wander both physically and mentally often, though it seems in today’s society, mentally seems to be more prevalent. Sometimes all they need is direction to move forward, sometimes they find their way, and sometimes they are lost, until they have to be found.
Our wandering sun always shows us a path to the right place, however it is sometimes harder when we are metaphorically stuck somewhere and not able to find our way out. It is our responsibility to look for help, and find our way to a good path. Maybe not a great path, but at least a good path for us.
At the same time it is everyone’s responsibility to watch for those people who are lost and perhaps help them if we can. We also need to respond when someone reaches out to us, and not just set people aside but help them find their way.
So as the sun sets on another day, lets take a few moments and think about our path, are we on the right path? Will we find our way to the right path or do we need help? At the same time, does someone we know need help and how can we help? If we can help we should, no matter what.
