The sun sets on another day…
Slowly we turn, step by step, inch by inch, yearning for more sunsets, but as we go through our days in North America now, the sunsets come earlier and earlier, and our days get shorter. We hang on to the moments, trying to stretch the days yet knowing that soon they will be no more, and we will be in the embrace of winter.
So too it is in life, we hold on day to day until slowly we are in the embrace of the winter of our lives, but wait! That’s right wait! We do not need to go quietly into that night, we can hold on, hold on to passion, and love, and life and instead of seeing the winter come, stoke the flames higher, and make our days better yet.
So as the sun sets on another day, lets skip the embrace of the shorter days and instead look at a brighter future for all the days we have left, no matter what.
Sleep sweet, enjoy the moment, and love each day as thought it were the best ever…
