The sun sets on another day…
Today the sun was amazingly bright, mostly because the storms had taken both the pollution and the humidity out of the air, making the path to us clear, and the light crisp and wonderful. As the sun set the clouds closed in and the resulting cover gave fantastic definition to an amazing day.
Sometimes in life it takes a storm to allow us to see the world as a better place. A breakup, a problem, an issue of any kind can be turbulent but the result is a clearing of the air as the truth washes over us all, then the crisp light can shine down and we can see the beauty we truly emanate, and see the world around us with new eyes.
It is funny, I have lived this a few times, where I had been in a situation where I thought everything was perfect and as the situation unfolded a truth came out and showed me I was not seeing it well. The result was painful but gave me new perspective and new peace. Hopefully we all can move past any difficult situation and find a similar peace that we need, no matter what.
So as the sun sets on another day, enjoy your eve, hold someone close if you can, think good thoughts if you can’t, and enjoy the passing of the night…
