The sun sets on another day…
there are always so many things to write about. So many lessons life gives us daily. Today, as the temperatures rise where we are I was considering it is only February and I am in short sleeves wondering if it will get warm enough for shorts in a place that can be bound by ice right now. Only a week ago ice gripped the lake and lighthouse as temperatures hovered below freezing. This week there will be warm days and rain. Is it spring?
I hear from people all the time saying “I hope so” and so it could be, but remember sometimes you have to see past the moment and enjoy it all you can, not worrying about tomorrow and the potential for warmth or cold, but instead enjoying this wonderful day.
So take a moment, stretch, go outside if it is warm where you are, and enjoy the air and the gift we have been given for one day.
If this turns out to be a Pseudo Spring, well, as the cold descends on us again, be thankful for the moments we had, and enjoy a warm blanket knowing the the Pseudo will be gone soon, and spring will be here, no matter what.
