The sun sets on another day…
Every once in a while we are put in positions that give us pause. We see something, hear something, or experience something that points out our mortality, or gives us a clear view of a previous time, or shows us a clear vision of the future.
For the past few days I have been ill, and not in a good way. I do not normally share but hopefully this will make sense. Somewhere along the path I was reminded of a hundred times past, and a series of events that made me realize how good life is. Even when life is at its worst, life is truly awesome as it is always better than the alternative.
So as the sun sets on another day, appreciate your day and all the moments you have, me, I think I will recover with the most immortal combination cure known to man, Chicken Noodle Soup and Nutter Butters.
