The sun sets on another day…
It is funny I think about it occasionally, but how do we measure life? Do we measure by other peoples standards or our own? It is funny, sunsets are not really measured because they are all pretty, but if they were, how do you measure something that is unique.
That should be the question. With people, how do you measure something that is unique? How can you apply your vision to someone else, and how can they apply their vision to you? In my opinion there is no way to do so. I strongly feel that measuring anyone base don an internal standard is not only problematic, but it can cause confusion to the judge, and the judged.
Sound wrong? How can you imagine how someone is or feels or works when they are as unique as you? Why not look for the positive of each person you meet and set aside that negative (unless it is a scary negative) and just enjoy the moment. Why not accept, instead of deny, and just enjoy the fact you are unique and they are as well?
So as the sun sets on another day, I have given more questions than answers. Maybe I should just say “Love life, and enjoy diversity” because that is the best we can do. Let’s make the world a better place by realizing we are all unique, and enjoying a good sunset.
