The sun sets on another day…
Forgive this sideways post, it has purpose.
Another person I did not know well passed recently. I was sad to see this happen as I know her daughter.
Some people may think it is hard to say something about someone you do not know, or have never met. I can honestly say I know without a doubt this individual was amazing in many ways. How you ask? Easily. You can tell because of the honest, compassionate, hardworking fortitude of her daughter. A person who is selfless and loyal and who would face any obstacle for a friend, and bear any cross for her family. It is rare to find these traits in our society and it is obvious that her mother made this woman a strong woman. I will not be able to be there to support Jennifer, but I hope she knows she is supported by every person she has been loyal to in her life.
As parents, our best goal is to raise good children. After all, we are creating the face of the future, let’s make it a good one.
So as the sun sets on another day, remember that people are a reflection of their environment, and as you see the face of one, you know the face of their past. Pay attention and learn, and be the best person you can be, no matter what.
