The sun sets on another day…
The Storm was broken for a mere moment and the clouds broke free, casting red and orange shadows on the world. An explosion of color and light that was almost too awesome to behold.
Wow, it was great.
today I was thinking about both positives and negatives and I usually like to take the positive route. I talk to a lot of people from time to time. Not always, but I never avoid a good conversation. In a recent conversation I was considering how much positive was being said and the effect on the actual demeanor of everyone involved.
Don’t get me wrong, I understand how many people in the world have to vent. Some vent to me, some vent to others, but people find a need to let the bad out, simply because it makes the feel better. A few kind words or a listening ear may make them feel like nothing is truly wrong, even after their arm fell off (Kidding). My point is maybe we need to shift to a positive line of thinking instead and explain to people just how wonderful they are, or how lucky we are to have them.
It gets a little tiring hearing about the latest disease, maybe we should consider the latest promotion. IF we don’t want to hear about the mean people in life, how about the good people.
Today I waled into a fuel station and the woman was positive and her gentleman backup well over the top. Shouldn’t we bring them to the forefront instead of the rotten people who get talked about so often. If we talked about the good, don’t you think everyone would want to be good? I do.
So as the sun sets on another day, I have an idea. Lets walk past the unkind people of the world and not buy in to the negativity, instead, lets pump up the positive people, and maybe that movement will grow. After all, if everyone was positive the world would be a better place.
Sleep sweet, love life, and be positive, no matter what…
