Crossed streams…

The sun sets on another day…

As the sun rises and sets it crisscrosses the landscape, for rising in the east and setting in the west does not determine which part of the east, nor which part of the west it will set. It depends fully on the season.

The number of people we work with, run into, become acquainted with, love, hate, like, dislike in our lives is truly staggering. Estimates range from 30,000 to 90,000 depending on the source. No matter how you slice it, it is a lot.

I would hope we never take all those people for granted, but I thought about it a lot as I finished writing my third book. There are many people who we bring in to our lives that leave us all to quickly, and many people who we keep in our lives that are equally important. I hope anyone who reads this realizes, that even though I do not track individuals, that I appreciate each and every person who I know, good or bad, positive or negative. Each of these people made my life more complete, and as our streams crossed we made each other better for the experience.

So as the sun sets on another day, consider well the moments you have in life, and the people who you meet. You never know who may be the most important person to you later in life. Treat everyone with respect and patience, and as you cross streams, don’t muddy the water.

Sleep sweet, love life, and be amazed each day…
