The sun sets on another day…
I was thinking today. There are so many people that talk about poetic justice, that I wonder if they know what it means. By definition it is a justifiable outcome, but I wonder, why would justice be poetic and what outcomes are justified? I guess poetic justice is building stairs that go under the snow if you say you hate snow.
Odd thought I know, but most people think poetic justice is negative. In fact, since the 1600s it has been negative, but maybe we need to take a positive spin on it. Maybe we need to think of something new, like ironic justice, where someone wronged suddenly get a good moment, or better yet, someone that is behind the curve is brought above it. Maybe as a whole we need to focus on the positives and pretty much set the negatives in the trash, and along the way enjoy ourselves. I mean, it would be ironic justice to be fired poorly, but win the lottery that day. Perhaps it would be ironic to be scorned, and find the love of your life. Maybe it could be ironic to be teased, and suddenly be hired as the lead in a new and exciting movie.
I digress, mainly because it is fun.
So as the sun sets on another day, let’s take a moment and enjoy the day. Do good all you can, be a positive force, and maybe ironic justice will come your way. In the end, enjoy whatever comes and make the best of it, no matter what.
Sleep sweet, love life, and enjoy your moments…
