The sun sets on another day…
As another day closes the sun is swept to the west as though a giant broom is wiping the light from the skies. It does not take long for the darkness to be here, and for the crisp night air to surround us all.
you know, sometimes we forget. We forget what life is truly about. It is not about racing to the end to fill our coffers with all the things we can, nor is it about the conquests we make, nor the power we have gained. It is about the people we have touched, and the happiness we have brought to the world. Right?
Well, I would like to think so.
In my opinion we should make people smile, and laugh, and let them know they are special.
Today as I walked by a multitude (Well, more than a multitude) of people I talked to as many as I could. I said something nice, smiled, laughed, and generally tried to improve someones day. Now it does not always work, but I found I was greeted by smiles and laughs and maybe a little bit of happiness. (Not for me to decide)
I did not do this for any other reason than to be nice, I expect no kind words or positive sin return, and actually got only a few. I did get smiles and laughs, and a the end of the day, I feel good about it.
So what right?
Well, if we only get our 29000 sunsets, isn’t it a good way to be, to try to be positive no matter what. I hope so.
So as the sun sets on another day, be positive, be the change in the world you should be, make a difference for others just because, and well, try to be happy too, and laugh a little
