The sun sets on another day…
As the sun set I came to a series of turkeys in the road. No, not turkeys like people who are strange, instead the family of gobble gobbles delayed me just long enough to miss the sun setting completely. I was not unhappy though, and I did not have a turkey hood ornament nor was I angry, as I imagined a great sunset and a friend took a good picture, so I used one from yesterday.
Sometimes we see the roadblocks in front of us, and we just don’t realize they are not just roadblocks, but lessons. Sometimes we just need to open our eyes and see the turkeys in front of us and instead of hurrying around or beeping the horn, we just need to enjoy the moment. Of course, it is not always true, but it is usually true and when we go through that moment, life just gets better from there.
So as the sun sets on another wonderful day, enjoy the moment, laugh a little, laugh a little more, and find a way to be happy even when you have roadblocks. Eventually they will clear and maybe you will have a new road before you. Keep on finding your way through, no matter what.
