The sun sets on another day…
As I watched the ocean, wind and wave today I was overwhelmed for a moment, not by all the beauty around me, but by the beauty of all the people I have known, and the beauty that is possible in all of us.
I was in a discussion today about one of my relatives and how they had changed so much in the last years. The idea was they were no longer scattered, they were now the best version of themselves they could be. I considered a thought: am I the best version of me I can be? I ask you the same: are you the best version of you that you can be?
It should be an easy question. There is a lot to consider. Do you do your best, do you look out for others, do you choose well, and quite a few more. One that is often overlooked is: do you do what is best for you? I think we all should think for a moment, are we being that best version of who we are today?
In my opinion, if you can answer yes, then maybe you should reset your thought each day. Make the best version of you a daily goal, not a momentary goal, and perhaps that version will continue to get better and better. Don’t do it for any other reason than it is the right thing to do, after all, you are and can be the best version of you every day if you only want to do so.
If you answered no, what is stopping you? What do you need to do to be that best version of you? Is it important you you? Why or why not?
There is so much in our lives that we are easily lost in it, it is time to start creating a foundation that works not just for us, but for everyone each day,.
So as the sun sets on another day, I try to be the best version of me each day, I do not always succeed. How about you? Ask yourself what you do, can you do better, why or why not? In the process redefine today and get ready for a new and exciting tomorrow. Be the best version of you possible, no matter what.
Sleep sweet, love life, and be you always…
