The sun sets on another day…
Today was clear as clear could be, and the sky as blue as the word implies. After a call I headed down to the beach and there was an Owl waiting as advertised. There I sat, for almost 600 pictures, watching the owl watch over all of us. He was curious of the dozens who came and went, and finally, with a blast he flew off to the east to watch over something else.
I often wonder who is watching who in the world. We hear about people watching people all the time. There are positives, negatives, and others that are all over the news. We watch our children, and as we grow older our children may watch over us. There are those that give their lives to watching others, and those that never know they are being watched. So which one are you?
Did you decide? How do you see yourself? Are you the silent watcher keeping track of everyone? Are you the person who is unaware in the world? It is a choice, but what choice do you make every day?
I am usually a watcher. No, not a Mr. Creepy watcher, I pay attention tot he world as it revolves and pay close attention to the people close to me, and the people a little further away. Now I try not to interfere, but I sometimes reach out and try to help if I think it is necessary, and sometimes I just stay quiet, because quiet sometimes is necessary.
Today as I watched the owl, and he watched me and everyone else, I smiled for a minute knowing that somewhere, someone was watching. It was probably my dog watching me, she does all the time.
So as the sun sets on another day, watch over those that need watching over, and cut a little slack to those watching over you, after all, you never know when you might need them.
Sleep sweet, love life, and enjoy the evening…
