Who are you?

The sun sets on another day…

It is an easy question. A question we are asked and often ask ourselves. A question that can echo in our minds eye, or echo in an empty hallway. It is a question that is asked in many hero movies, and many horror movies. It is a question writers always ask, and we should look to ask ourselves often, if not more.

Who are you?

Do you know?

I only ask this because so many people are not exactly sure of who they are each day. So many people are far more, a few are far less.

So who are you?

Think about it. The thing that defines you most is you, right? We all live with our truths and we know our truths better than anyone. We also live with those things we set aside, and know those intimately as well. It is apparent in this world that the bulk of what we do is based on the definition of who we are and our instincts for own survival. It can be difficult. The road to who we are can be filled with pitfalls, or marvelous elations and in each and every moment we can achieve more just by defining who we are.

I know who I am. Some of me has been good, some not so good. In the end I believe in the me I am. Do you believe in the you that you are or that you will become? I know, I know, that sounds so trite, the idea we are who we are. Well, I think we need to focus on who we are a little more, and define ourselves for today, living this life, and make the world a better place.

So as the sun sets on another day, I think therefore I am. Sounds just like I know who I am, right? Define you, define it well, build yourself with passion and make today the best day ever, no matter what.

Sleep sweet, love life, and be you…
