The sun sets on another day…
I sit here in an airport, waiting, patiently. With open eyes I watch the people go to and fro, lost in their thoughts, already lost in a journey that has not begun. Some are watchful and excited, but many seem absorbed in whatever technology they have or the thoughts that haunt them right now. I smile, I laugh, and the passerby’s seem oblivious to my existence.
I try to have fun. Perhaps I try to have too much fun. Each day is a challenge, and each day is a series of events both good and bad, and still I try to have fun. It saddens me that so may people in the world, well, don’t. They almost seem to avoid having fun in favor of the miasmic fog they spiral into over the moments. (Yes, I am using that correctly, an unpleasant fog). We make a choice each day to have fun, or to not have fun. We have the ability though to press the envelope and have fun. We have the ability to overcome any obstacle.
Take a second, how are you? Take a moment, are you having fun? Is today everything you want? Maybe not, but today is here now, and should be the best day it can be. Right? Make yourself an exampled and be that person that finds fun in everything. Be that person that finds the silver lining then helps others see it too. I know it is hard, but it will be worth it.
So as the sun sets on another day, wow. What a day. It was a day of positive people, then finding a way to lift others up. Along the way I enjoyed every moment I could, and enjoyed the rest as well. I find a way and you can as well, set aside the fog, and be that person that finds happiness in a grain of sand, no matter what.
