Why miss another?

March 6, 2020

Close up…

The sun sets on another day…

It is about 92 million miles from the earth to the sun. Quite a long way. When we watch the sunset we are stepping back in time, because it happened 8 minutes or so ago. Close up, the sun would look a lot different than it does from here.

Sometimes when we see things from a distance they look a lot better or worse. I know, I am probably weird thinking about this, but close up things are sometimes a little different.

Take mountains, from a distance they look pretty small, but when you are climbing them, not so much. When we are looking at a car, we may be excited, but after we look closer, maybe not so much. People look different too, better or worse, depending on where you stand. I think, my opinion is, that we should see things from close and far away to make our best decisions. Everest may look easy til we start climbing, so get a little more information first. That person who you think is amazing may be better or worse under closer scrutiny.

So as the sun sets on another day, open your eyes to see, and enjoy the moments seeing life more closely, along the way, have a super time, no matter what.

Sleep sweet, laugh often, and smile the night away…
