The sun sets on another day…
Sunset swooped in and out, and the clouds were sublime. True, they did obscure the sunset where I was, but the colors were impressive, and even almost unreal.
Unreal. It is a word we can use more effectively now. A word that describes a world that is upside down, and Topsy Turvey all at once.We barely go through a day without hearing bad news, and it is hard for may to see all the good news that is around them, all the good news that exists.
My suggestion, perhaps it is time to reach out and connect to those people you really need to connect with, those that share your heart. An interesting concept I think. A lot of people may share your heart, or a very few. Family has a place in your heart, but also loved ones who believe in you, or will be there for you no matter what. This is the time to have a zoom call, a phone call, a letter writing campaign, or something innovative, this is a time to let people know you care, and let people know they are not alone.
It may not mean much, but it may mean the world to reach out, and just let people know, life is better because they are a part of it.
There are people I miss daily. People I speak to often, and people I wish I spoke to more often. Let’s all take a moment and try to be there, not just for them, but for you as well.
So as the sun sets on another day, the world is upside down right now but you don’t have to be. Show the world how fantastic it is, and it might just show you back. Even if it doesn’t, take the time to reach out, and let people know you care, no matter what.
