28999

The sun sets on another day…

Sunset was cloudy with a chance of excitement. A chance, it was there, and still is each and every moment. Excitement, not just, the same old thing, real and fun excitement.

It was a nice thought. Right now people seem to be missing excitement, missing fun, missing life. I had a discussion tonight that relived the original premise of this site. I wanted to leave something for my kids to read, and along the way consider if we only had 29000 sunsets, what we would do on day 28999? Why aren’t we doing it now?

An easy question to be sure. Why aren’t we doing it now? Why are we living less a life than we would on our last day? Perhaps it is morbin, but I would like to challenge you to see it another way, let’s all look at it as a challenge. Can we enjoy the unenjoyable? Can we take presence in pain and make it different? Can we enjoy the unenjoyable? Maybe, maybe not. Can we try?

I ask, perhaps implore that we try, I ask, perhaps implore that we look beyond our simple views and maybe see a larger view, maybe see that being in the moment is more important than planning for the moment. That enjoying a day you would have never had is better than waiting for the day to come. If you think about it it makes sense. To quote a fun movie from a long time ago, “Why ask why when how is so much more fun.”

It is to be considered.

So as the sun sets on another day, it is not 28999, tomorrow is another day, but the fact is, we never know. The world is different for everyone. Take time to make it a little better and make today the best day ever. Make today your day, and not just a day, but a good day. It will be worth it. Enjoy the night, enjoy the day, and enjoy every moment you can, no matter what.

Sleep sweet, love deeply, and laugh a little too…
