The sun sets on another day…
As the sun fell in the western sky I was filled with warmth and enjoying every moment. It was a clear eve or so I thought, but as the sun began to set the clouds, previously overwhelmed by light, shone through and added depth and fire to the sunset. In the end it was not the sunset I expected, but a beautiful series of geometric shapes, lit by the fire of the twilight.
You know, sometimes you don’t get what you expect, but often you get something just as exciting or better. The world and our lives are in a constant state of motion, well, mostly they are, and each day all we need to do is open or eyes and see the wonderful moments that are there. They may not be what we were expecting, but usually we can enjoy them just the same. I know, it may not make the best sense, but it is real, and can almost always be a positive if we let it do so.
So as the sun sets on another day, if you don’t get what you want out of life, well, you may not be looking. Take a deep breath, smile, and look for the things you overlooked, and enjoy what you can every day, no matter what.
