The sun sets on another day…
I thought I would write a poem today, and just smile for a moment. So here it is, fresh out of my brain”:
People come and people go, never knowing what they know, always talking rarely balking, thinking that they know
People walk and people talk, never going where they go, always moving never soothing, what seeds do they sew
People smile and people frown, not knowing how they feel, never showing whats inside them, what walls do they grow
People laugh and people cry, and so the world looks on, believing always what they see, what really do they show
The sun it rises, the sun it sets, and still the sun it shines. People talk, and people walk, and barely they get by
So in the end its time to stop, and wait just for a few, its time to watch, its time to act, whatever you believe
In the end, the sun still shines.
So as the sun sets on another day, enjoy your day, slow down a little, pay attention to a little more, and try to understand how we all fit together, no matter what.
