The sun sets on another day…
The cars lined the streets, and people watched the sun fall with quit murmurs and silent laughter. It was a kind moment, and you could do little but enjoy the moments, and the back lit clouds spotting the skies.
Ever think about flying a kite? No, I am not telling you to go fly a kite, but think about it, it is peaceful, and you watch the sky pan out in front of you as you enjoy the wind and everything around you. It is peaceful, and exhilarating at the same time. I would like to think this type of activity can bring a little calm to our lives. I would like to think this type of activity could add a little peace.
Some people think that peace and slowing down for a moment is of trivial importance, I, on the other hand, think the trivial is all too important. Being there for people it a necessity, and making a difference can be as simple as and iced tea at the right time, a coffee at another, or a kind word when it is needed. I guess if you look at it, trivial isn’t so trivial.
So as the sun sets on another day, take a moment, fly a kite, dream a dream, rock in a hammock, laugh at a dumb joke, then sit back and see the trivial things in your life, and maybe they mean a little more than you though. Consider them, and send someone a flower, or a card, and make them smile, no matter what.
Sleep sweet, love life, and pursue the trivial…
