The sun sets on another day…
Ever take a walk and just get overwhelmed by the beauty of it all. No it wasn’t sunset, just a walk, and I tell you, it was pretty.
It is so easy to find beauty if you look for it, it is everywhere you know. I was going to set up a site once called hidden beauty, and just did not have the time, but I have taken so many pictures where a slice of the picture is amazing, but the entire picture does not lend itself to that striking awesomeness.
A leaf in the middle of a trash strewn area. A flower next to a highway. Leaves and ivy over a broken house. There are so many options, and so many of them just make you go “wow”. All you have to do is look for them, and remember.
Years ago I was in downtown Louisville KY not expecting much and found a park that had a stream in it. A small peace of heaven followed, and I could not have wished for better. The beauty would have been lost if I had not taken a chance, and looked.
So as the sun sets on another day, well, its there if you look. Open your eyes, find the beauty, and as you do remember you are a part of it. Enjoy the moments, enjoy it all, no matter what.
