The sun sets on another day…

Sunset was taken away by deep clouds, but not before I got several good pictures and enjoyed the evening breeze on the beach.

I was thinking a lot today. That may come as a surprise, or it may not. Depends on how well you know me. Hmm, depends are diapers, what a mess. Wow, that got off track.  So back to thinking. There is a word that is used far too little right now but perhaps could be considered far too much, that word is “we”. The word means “used by a speaker to refer to himself or herself and one or more other people considered together” which basically could be me and him or her, me and them, me and us, and a bunch of us. I have seen it used as a royal plural as well where a person refers to themselves as a collective, but lets dump that for now. “We” is an amazing abstract because it shows cooperation. It shows a binding between people that deserve to be bound, and gives us much to consider as “we” are not alone if “we” are in a “we”.

Scary huh? Oui! (Pronounced like we but means yes)

Anyway, when I watched the movie “Hackers” a long time ago a quote stuck with me. The situation was grim, and one hacker was not really a good person, but he was very good at what he did. As he was in a code war. (These were fun a long time ago) He said , “You’re not good enough to beat me,” to which the good guy replied, “maybe I’m not, but we are.” We is the essence of teams the key to relationships, and the start of a country. Isn’t it time “we” started considering “we” and not “I” as much. I know, it is tough, and some of you consider “we” too much, but “I” think that “we” would be better off if “we” realized the world is full of “I”s, but “we” can do anything if “we” put our mind to it. Something to consider.

So as the sun sets on another day, we the people does not mean any one person, it is “we”. We the undersigned, does not mean just the top signature, it means all of them. Truly, we are the world, lets consider today, and make it as good as we can together. (Well, it is a good idea.) IF we can’t a lot of “wee we’s” will most likely do it for us. Maybe that will work too, I know a lot of “wee we’s that would work hard to make life right. Enjoy your night tonight, and have fun, no matter what.
