The sun sets on another day…
Sunset was hazy, a gift from who knows where. The seasons are readying for the changes that will soon be coming, and here we will soon have more clouds than not. Still, sunset is always an adventure, and the moments are always amazing.
I know I sometimes sound like a broken record. All this “Live in the moment” and “don’t take time for granted” could easily get old. Not because it isn’t true, but more because people tire of hearing what they already know. Yes, each day is a gift, but we know that, we just seem to set it aside easily. Well, some of us do.
There are some people who operate at a level that is higher, they put everything into each day and push for even more. This is not because they are a different caliber, it is because somewhere inside of them there is a drive that pushes beyond what is there, that takes it a step further. Maybe that does make them a different caliber in the end, but every person has that ability to believe more, to push more, and to be more. All they have to do is want to do so.
I know I push in some areas far more than others, and I try to always take into account that tomorrow is a wisp of smoke hanging in the wind but I fail in some areas. I need to exercise more, eat better, and maybe take Geritol. (Well, the commercial says so). Maybe it is time to push past and give even more, do even more. I can do it, I just have to choose.
So as the sun sets on another day, you too can choose. You can press the envelope and live life to its fullest. Make that decision, and believe you can and it will happen. Be that example for yourself and everyone else, no matter what.
