The sun sets on another day…
I am in awe with the amazing sunsets and how the clouds light up the world. There can be no doubt beauty exists in the imperfection of the moments, and the imperfections of the moments create beauty.
A lot of days seem strange. It is sometimes just a feeling anymore, and sometimes they present with clarity. Strange is neither good nor bad, it is just strange, and as we progress daily into a world of light and darkness divided by sunrise and sunset it is the strangeness that often creates beauty. Imagine for a moment the unique imperfection of a rose. Symmetrical dysfunction of the petals creates a beauty beyond compare. So then to is our lives, presented to us often as moments, we need to pay attention and find the beauty in everything because there is beauty in all that we experience, all that we do.
I know, sometimes it is hard to see it. If someone rips your heart out it is hard to see how the pain is anything but horrible. If the world seems to collapse upon you it is hard to think there may be a light in it all. If something breaks that means something, it is hard to replace it and so forth. We truly have to look and see past it all. I have a good example. Recently I was trying to grow a yard. I used Weed and Feed to help my grass grow, only to find I only had weeds and made a huge path through the yard that was bare as fresh dirt. I saw the ugly, but it took only a short time to see the new grass, unfettered by the weeds, sprouting and taking over the space. True, it was painful, but it will get better.
If things are bad, look for the area for regrowth, for understanding, for learning a little more and find your way to more. Find your way to some semblance of good, perhaps even amazing happiness. It is there if you only look.
So as the sun sets on another day, I hope you find the good in all you experience, the positive where others only see the negatives, and mostly I hope you find love that is returned, and make it special each day, no matter what.
