The sun sets on another day…
I watched sunset tonight from the beach. The waves crashed down upon the seawall and rocks, and the sky was lit by an amazing lightshow. The sun set, but the show was not over. As the twilight continued the sky was pummeled with color, and everything was amazing for a while. It was not the sunset today that stole the show, but afterwards was stunning.
Sometimes after something happens there is far more beauty than while it happens. I am often stunned by the sheer fact that we are always in flux, every one of us. I challenge you and everyone to look at each moment of each day as a possibility to being more, and finding a path to something even better. The world will be a better place if you, yes you, are looking for the positives and setting aside the fear, hate and disdain that seems to permeate the world. It is your choice.
So as the sun sets on another day, take a moment, enjoy the sunset, enjoy life, and if you can, be happy with all around you. After all, if today was day 28999, tomorrow wouldn’t be just another day. Let’s make our todays the best days ever, no matter what.
